Now trending
Hollywood It Girl, Francesca Leon, has just landed the biggest role of her career…one that could clinch an Oscar nomination and open doors. If she’s going to move her career to the next level and work with top directors, she has to nail this part — and keep her sexy, but unreliable leading man from screwing everything up.

Team Calder
Bad boy Calder Fox is the son of Hollywood royalty and fresh out of rehab after his best friend’s death sent him on a downward spiral of drugs and alcohol. While his fans still love him and the paparazzi stalk him, he’s never taken life, or anything about his career, seriously. He may be charming and drop-dead gorgeous, but if he doesn’t stay sober, he could ruin Frankie’s future and expose her long-hidden family secret to the voracious media.

Behind the scenes
Things heat up during filming and have the potential to become hotter, deeper, and much more real. But can Frankie trust Calder with her secret? Or is he doomed to sabotage his own happiness yet again?

Andrea's Review

*ARC received in return for an honest review

When I signed up to review Collateral Damage I hadn't realised it was the third instalment in the Limelight series and I'd not read the previous books. However that didn't matter, as this is a standalone novel and I was able to enjoy the story without feeling like I'd missed something.

Collateral Damage has quite a dramatic and explosive start, literally, which had me hooked until the last page. I couldn't put it down and read it straight through.

I loved the relationship between Frankie and Calder and what I liked most was that, instead of going through the whole story denying their feelings for each other until the last chapter, they realised early on how they felt about each other.
I adored the romance, the banter and the tenderness between Calder and Frankie, it made me feel all warm inside and the steamy scenes? Boy, they were HOT! I nearly had to stop reading to hose myself down.

Of course it's not all plain sailing for the couple. Frankie lives in fear of a family secret being discovered, which she has managed to keep well hidden so far. Meanwhile Calder is fighting a battle with his demons. He's an addict, just out of rehab and can't forgive himself for his best friend's death.

Frankie seems to be making progress in trying to get Calder to see that he can't keep blaming himself, to start looking foward and put the past behind him but she's aware it's not going to be easy. Calder is put in an impossible situation involving alcohol but will he give in to temptation or will he be strong enough to fight it? My heart was in my mouth but also crying for him at times.

I could say more but not without revealing spoilers so I'll leave you with one of my favourite lines in the book, that made my heart ache for Calder.

He was one of the most visible people in the world yet still one of the most isolated.

Thank you Elisabeth Grace for the ARC and allowing me to read Calder and Frankie's wonderful story, I'm off to 1-click the first books now.

I can definitely recommend Collateral Damage. Go hit that 1-click button now.
