First can we start by saying WE LOVED this book and cannot WAIT for Girl in Love #3...Caisey Quinn, how the HELL do you expect us to wait til February???
Okay now that's out our system we'll try and do this book justice.

Girl on Tour focuses on Trace and Kylie's blossoming but struggling relationship. Misguidedly, they both feel they aren't worthy of each other's love. I knew the road wouldn't be smooth for them but I wasn't prepared for the heaviness I had in our heart and it tore me up.
Caisey warned us that we won't be getting our HEA just yet and.....NO SPOILERS!!!! I will say this though, you'll be shouting at your kindle/book when you read the sneak peak of Girl in Love at the end.
Just as Kylie and Trace realise they are beginning to feel something for each other they are kept apart by their careers...both are signed up for separate tours.
Kylie is embarking on her first tour and has to spend 11 weeks apart from Trace. She's finding it hard enough without the blatant hostility she suffers from one of the two girls on the tour, why does she seem to hate her so much? Kylie is also worrying about her boyfriend, she's afraid he'll fall off the wagon while she's away from him.
Trace has been given a last chance, a make or break tour to help his failing career. The only snag is he's not alone. He has to share billing with Gretchen an ex girlfriend and drinking partner, whose career is also on a downward spiral, only she is still partying, hard. If Trace refuses to tour with Gretchen then the tour is off, the deal is non negotiable. Gretchen has not changed her ways since they last toured with each other, and now is raging alcoholic fighting her own demons, while seeming set on making Trace's life and tour as miserable as she can.

Trace's publicist and agent seems intent on pushing him into situations where he has to fight his craving for alcohol, and boy is Trace a damn sexy HOT mess, I had to stop reading while my heart was literately breaking for him, but on the other hand I was having visions of him in my bed with his tight jeans and cowboy hat laying on my bedroom floor!! (is it hot in here?) *fans oneself*

I was right there every time Trace fought against the booze and I was right there again every time Kylie called him on his feelings and their relationship.
Oh, and when Kylie sang her song...*stops to cry*

I also loved Kylie's relationships with the two girls she was touring with. Introducing Mia (who is one bitch from hell) and seems like she gets off on hating Kylie every chance she gets, with sarcastic comments and catty remarks, whilst giving dirty looks that could kill. Then there's Lily, who is young and inexperienced to touring in the music scene! She is totally OMG over excited and has daddy issues big time!! At the beginning there is major tense girl drama!! I found myself gritting my teeth, laughing and crying while these girls fought, cried, sang and stuck up for each other all the while battling against there own issues.
I do hope these sassy girls are in Girl In Love # 3, as I truly loved each of their own stories, and even I ended up admiring Gretchen over how hard she worked to face up to her demons and to put her life back on track.

I particularly loved the scene with Kylie, Mia and Lily's dad. Boy, you REALLY don't want to piss Kylie off!! Oh, and let's not forget Kylie's hilarious straight-talking, no nonsense best friend Lulu...some of sayings made me laugh out loud and ask, "Did she really say that?"

Girl On Tour pulled at my heart strings from the first page and was breaking it by the very last, and I truly hope and pray Trace and Kylie get their happy ever after in book 3, as their story so far, has broke my heart and I cannot think of any man that deserves it more than, the HOT mess, sexy tight jeaned, singer they call Trace!!
