Reese doesn’t want to make it easy for Kennedy.  Seeing her again has started a fire in his blood—an unwelcome one.  It took him years to forget about her before, so this time he has a plan.  It’s simple:  Get Kennedy on his yacht, seduce her, get her out of his system, move on with his life.  That sounds easy enough, right? 

But the one thing Reese didn’t plan for was Kennedy herself—a girl so strong yet so broken, she makes him want to rescue her, to take care of her.  To save her.  Even if he has to save her from himself.

Michelle Leighton, you've done it again, I LOVED  this book!!! 

It's no secret I ADORE M. Leighton. She is one of my all-time favourite authors and I devour her books like I would devour a huge box of my favourite chocolates...head down and I don't come up for air til I'm finished!! All The Pretty Poses was no different.

I'd read All The Pretty Lies and knew, from the glimpse I got of him in that book, that I was gonna like Reese but I wasn't prepared for how much I would come to love him. He's the usual schmexy, hot kind of guy I've come to expect from one of Michelle's leading men but oh! he made me melt in a different way from his brother Hemi. 
Hemi gave me a huge book hangover with his rough, tattooed and bad boy image *swoons at the thought* but Reese...oh maaan, he is in a different league altogether! He makes me feel all gooey and squishy inside and boy, can he play the piano? Get me a baby grand, quick!! *ovaries are doing gymnastics* (I admit it, I'm a book boyfriend whore and I don't care! )

Reese has grown up always knowing what he wants and always gets it. Well, apart from Kennedy Moore that is. She is the one he let slip through his fingers when he left her 14 yrs ago, now she's back in his life and stirring up all those unwanted old feelings. He thinks if he acts on his feelings and sleeps with Kennedy then he'll  have 'scratched that itch' and he can continue with his life as normal. But he's unprepared for how much Kennedy gets under his skin and makes him feel.

Kennedy Moore gave Reese Spencer her heart and he threw it away, leaving her shattered. She has spent the last 14 years trying to rebuild her life by concentrating on her dream - to dance with the famous Altman American Dance Theater. 

Years later fate throws Kennedy into the path of her first love, Reese Spencer, with him offering her a chance of a lifetime...work on his yacht as a dancer for a few weeks and he'll get her an audition with the famous dance group. Kennedy takes Reese up on his offer and vows to do her job and not let Reese anywhere near her heart this time round. But she's unprepared for Reese's determination.

All The Pretty Poses  has a slightly more gentler pace than ATPL but omigod it still has ALL the heat and the jaw dropping bombshells that Michelle is famous for and the heartache near the end tore at my heart. As usual, when I've finished reading one of Michelle's books, I'm left reeling and stunned by the emotional ride I've just been on and nursing a MAHOOSIVE book hangover.

For all those Hemi fans, there is still enough of him in ATPP to get your bad boy fix along Sloane's brother, Sig, too. Oh I can not wait to read his story, I just know it's gonna be a fun and hot ride!! (I'm smiling already)

To help you understand how much I loved this book I will leave you with this...

Most people who know me know that another of Michelle's books, Fragile, holds a very special place in my heart. So maybe you will understand how much I love this book when I say All The Pretty Poses now has a place in my heart right next to Fragile. Go read it and let Reese melt your heart too. Oh, and be warned you will need tissues!!
