Synopsis

The son of an icon.

He was a legend. Rock royalty.

A man I never met.

But I’m measured against him in every aspect of my life.

The only time I feel like me … the real me … is when I’m onstage with my band. But the more we grow in popularity, the more people compare me to him.

I’m not him. And I never will be. If only everyone could figure that out for themselves.

I need a break from it all.

Then, a confrontation has me jumping in my car, putting LA in my rearview mirror. And a stupid mistake ends up with my car on the side of the road. And straight into the path ofa girl who is the exact opposite of everyone else in my life.

She’s like everything I used to know.

And she has no clue who I am.

Even if she did, I don’t think she’d care.

She thinks I’m cavalier.

I think she’s intriguing. And hot. Let’s not forget hot.

I’m stuck in this town overnight while my car is being fixed. But I’m thinking I’m gonna stick around a bit longer.

I’m Storm Slater, lead guitarist in Slater Raze and the only child of the late, great Jonny Creed. But, here, right now … I’m nobody. Just a regular guy.

I’m liking it a whole lot.

And I’m liking her even more.

My Review
*ARC received in return for an honest review

I flippin' loved this book and I adored Storm and Stevie!!!

The author totally nailed it with Finding Storm, it was so much more than I could've hoped for. It was funny, heartbreaking in places and passionate and so damned addictiveI was hooked from the first page. Time just ran away from me as soon as I picked up my kindle and before I knew it, I was just over halfway through in one sitting! I just couldn't get enough.

I adore this author and her words. She creates such a wonderful mix of funny, charming, feisty, strong, flawed, complex and downright sexy characters who you can't help but fall for. They end up capturing your heart, making you wish you were part of their circle of friends and I certainly fell for Storm and Stevie!

My heart broke for Storm and what he was going through at the beginning of the book but as soon as he met Stevie my heart was happy. She was perfect for him, just what he needed. Their relationship reminded me of Jake and Tru's. Sigh!
I loved the chemistry between these two. They had me chuckling aloud one minute with their instant flirtatious and hilarious banter and heating up the next with their red hot passion.

I totally related to Stevie's unwavering passion of 80's music and I now have Pat Benetar's "Love Is A Battlefield" running around my head. Non-stop!!

I really enjoyed the little catch up of Jake, Tru and their family, including the rest of The Mighty Storm gang, I miss those guys.

I'm hoping this won't be the last we hear from this couple as I'm not ready to let them go yet and I really want to find out more about Storm's friends, and bandmates, especially Raze. So if you're listening Samantha Towle, pleeease write Raze's book next!!

I know Finding Storm can be read as a standalone but, if you haven't read The Storm series yet then you’ll probably want to read that first to get the best reading experience of the whole series.

I can’t seriously recommend this book highly enough!!!
