Blog Tour: Black Moon Draw by Lizzy Ford + 5* review + trailer + giveaway

Award Winning author, Lizzy Ford, is back with a fantastical novel,
BLACK MOON DRAW,
where we find out what happens when a reader
gets sucked into the novel she’s reading.

Title: Black Moon Draw
Author: Lizzy Ford
Genre: Fantasy/Romantic Suspense
Release Date: November 9, 2014

Synopsis

Reader beware … A woman suffering from heartbreak wishes her life would change and wakes up in BLACK MOON DRAW, an unfinished book written by her favorite author, where she must seek out the hero and help him on his mission if she is to return home.

A reader gets sucked into the book she’s reading and is trapped, unless she convinces the hero of the story to send her home. Just her luck - the book is unfinished, and its sexy hero is far more alpha male than she’s prepared to handle.
What Naia doesn’t know: the story – and its hero – have been expecting her for quite some time, even though she has no idea what she’s doing there.
Naia must learn quickly how to navigate the dangerous, magical world of Black Moon Draw and find a way to complete her journey with the unlikely, uncooperative hero of the story, who holds the key to returning her home.

Praise for BLACK MOON DRAW: “Lizzy Ford has done it again. She has created a story her fans are going to love and one that is different from so many others out there. The reader is transported into the book she is reading. . . I think that this is a story about believing in yourself and not letting what others say or how they treat you, stop you from that. In the end, it's about what you believe yourself capable of and not be scared to venture out of your comfort zone. I loved it!”—Cindy, Goodreads reader

Black Moon Draw proves, yet again, why Lizzy Ford remains my favourite paranormal/urban fantasy author! I just LOVE to get lost in her books and this was no exception.

What would you do if you were stuck in a book?

After her fiance dumps her just days before their wedding, Naia drowns her sorrows in a bottle of wine, falls into a drunken sleep and wakes up to find herself bang in the middle of an online story she's been reading.

By helping the sexy alpha Shadow King (who has muscly thighs that are harder than granite!) to lift the curse that has hung over his kingdom for a thousand years, Naia believes she will be able to go home. They only have a few days to try and lift the curse or his world will disappear for good. Because the story is a work in progress Naia has no way of knowing how it will end, who to trust or which is the right path to take.

Join Naia as she races against time to find the key to going home.

Lizzy has created a wonderfully quirky, fun and sexy read all rolled into one magical package with lots of subtle and, sometimes, not so subtle nods to some of her favourite books and movies.

One minute I'm imagining a scene similar to Beauty & the Beast and the next I'm picturing Mel Gibson, as William Wallace, riding through the battle field and then there it is...a reference to Braveheart!  I also found myself grinning like an idiot when I spotted a book or movie reference, especially the regeneration of the battle-witch (Doctor Who fan here!).

Apart from the smouldering scenes between the main characters and full on bloody battle scenes, there is a lot of humour running through the story that made me laugh out loud, like when the Shadow King announced they are off to see The Lord of the Wings...Lizzy Ford, I adore your sense of humour, it's right up my street and I congratulate you on a brilliant concept!

Black Moon Draw is like an homage to all of your favourite scenes from all of your favourite books, movies & tv shows that you've ever watched or read.

If you're a fan of  Labyrinth and The Never Ending Story, then you're gonna love this!

I can't recommend Black Moon Draw enough, go 1-click now.
