Andrea's Review

A perfect ending to a wonderful love story. April Fools  may be a sweet story of love conquering all but it also has its share of sizzling scenes. I'm now thinking of buying chocolate body paint, only thing is I need my Isaac to share it with!

The story picks up 2 weeks after the cliff hanger ending of April Showers. All April and Isaac have to do is keep their heads down and wait out the next couple of weeks before they can make their relationship public knowledge. How hard can it be? Everything seems to be going okay between the couple and Isaac made my heart (and other things) melt in his efforts to show April just how much and how deeply he loved her. *sighs* But there is Abbie, the scheming witch from April Showers who always seems to be there, lurking in the shadows and Isaac seems to avoid wanting to talk about her. Can April rise above her suspicions and learn to put her trust and faith in Isaac or will her insecurities and fears be their undoing?

I LOVED the fact that Karli payed tribute to some of her own personal favourite books and authors. I particularly loved the mention of the rock bands from a couple of those books. Which ones? I hear you ask. Read it and see and I'll guarantee you'll be grinning from ear to ear when you do come across them...I did. Another part I was grinning at was Isaac reading Beautiful Disaster to find out why all the girls swooned over Travis Maddox!!

I read April Fools in one go, once I started I flew through April's story which made me sad as I didn't want it to end. Hopefully Karli has set the scene to continue with Brody's story next. I NEED to see a LOT more of him! If you want to know who Brody is then you know what to do...yep, BUY THE BOOK.

April Fools will have you laughing, crying and sighing, oh, definitely sighing (I'm still thinking about that body paint!) and leave you feeling all warm and fuzzy inside and smiling. Well, it did me.

A definite MUST read!!

Simone's Review

*ARC received in return for an honest review*

Having read April Showers a while ago, and being left  dangling  over the edge of a cliff-hanger I could not wait to shut my blinds, cosy up on the sofa with my kindle in my hand to carry on where April showers finished and April Fools starts.

April is dealing, emotionally, with the aftermath of the fire and trying to keep Lukas as a friend and Isaac as her lover, while trying to get some normality back into her life, by returning back to her studies. I love April's character she is sassy, strong and no push over, which is all the qualities I love in a leading lady.

Oh then there's Isaac, that ever so dominating alpha male with a soft centre. I loved the way he showed April just how much he loved her!! *Swooning* and *Drooling* while thinking about Chocolate and a paint brush!!

I connected and loved every character especially Katie, Lucy and Brody who all had a story of their own, with lots of sexy, cheeky banter and hope and pray Karli is going to share more of their stories????

I read this story in just over a morning and even though this book is short it ties up loose ends from April Showers while introducing more characters, maybe even a new BBF (Brody) *Coughs* It is very fast paced, packed full of humour, sexiness and some twists and turns that leave you thinking (wow I didn't see that coming).
